Corbans Viticulture congratulates four members of their management team on their degree and doctorate achievements. Continual improvement is a key company philosophy and Corbans Viticulture places a strong emphasis on ongoing staff training and development.
Dr Anna Graham – Research and Development Manager
Anna recently had a PhD in Food Science conferred. Her thesis was on ‘The quality of grafted grapevines grown in New Zealand’. Prior to gaining her PhD Anna graduated with an MSc in Food Science in 2002 and a BSc (Biochemistry) in 1989. Anna also has a Diploma of Teaching and has taught Chemistry and Biology.
Bevan Weir – PCR Specialist
Bevan is a PCR specialist who is surveying Corbans Viticulture’s rootstock mother vine blocks for disease as part of the company’s integrated pest and disease management strategy. Bevan has just graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences, from the University of Auckland. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology with Honours from the University of Auckland(2002).
Robert Richards – Quality Improvement Manager
Robert has recently completed a Diploma in Information Systems and Technology from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. He also holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Auckland.
Sandy Lancaster – Administration Manager
Sandy has just completed a Bachelor of Business (BBUS) in Management and Accounting. She also holds a New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) - NZQA also awarded in 2007 and a National Certificate in Business Studies
